I do my youngest sons taxes for him every year BUT he was laid off
from his regular job and drove a Tractor trailer for 4 months last
year...

He was away from his home 4 days a week (home only on Wednesay and the
weekend) during this period...

I know he should be able to claim at least his meals etc is there a
daily per diem rate he could calim and where does one claim this...how
about his expenses for bedding for the truvck cell phone use and other
items like a DVD player he purchased to enteretain himself when he
spent the night at truck stops.. His Empylor did reeimburse him for
showers etc at the truck stop but that shows up in his W2 as wages..

Any other things he could deduct ? like his ISP provider?

Thanks
Bob G.
