Hi,

I do not have an official record of the donation I made in 2007. Can I
enter that amount ($125 cash) as part of my tax deduction?

Thanks,

You can do anything you want to, but if you can't prove it, the deduction
will be denied.

*Your say so* is not good enough for cash contributions these days. Written
acknowledgement from the charity is necessary regardless of the amount.

So go get the proof of your contributions, or consider leaving them off the
return.

Thanks a lot, Paul.

Yes, I will just ignore it because I don't think I can get any sort of
proof for my contribution.
